Have you wondered that in the infinite and deep sea, there are a lot of fish, octopus, and even one-eyed creature who is just for guarding the temple at the bottom of the sea, but why it does have any coral? There are endless oceans in the world of Minecraft, scattered across the landscape, however, there is not anything for you to explore except looking for temple underwater. The sea is really boring and dark. Now, Coral Reefs Mod allows you to change your sea forever through adding some new plants and blocks under the sea, including coral reefs which can be used to craft some tool for survivals.

At the beginning, Coral Reefs was programmed by Nandonalt, but after a period, he stopped developing it. Then, the mod is designed again by Primetoxinz. Its content and functionality are nearly identical to the older version, and it uses the same assets. The only major change between the two versions is that, unlike the old version that required coral blocks to be crafted into dyes, this mod’s coral blocks can be used directly as dyes.

The new Coral Reefs Mod adds tons of cool new blocks, a plethora of new vegetation and even an underwater light source. Thanks to that, beautiful sub ocean terrain beckons out to be explored, giving a brand new life the watery depths.  You can almost sense the fish swimming around, nearly sense the danger as you float through the razor sharp coral reef. You might also dive out explore the inky deep, harvesting new materials to decorate your bounty filled pirate cove.
